Employing technologies like Apache, Nginx, Bind, Postgresql or MySQL, Exim, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript to name a few I am familiar with."


Before I was made redundunt I was working as Linux System Administrator for Cecure Gaming Ltd.

My duties included administering company's network, upgrades and maintenance, installation and configuration of servers and application software, user support, remote administration via SSH.

During my career I have worked with multitude of technologies.

Linux user from 1997 I have used/workded with RedHat, Debian Linux, Ubuntu, Slackware, Apache, Nginx, Lighttp, CVS, Subversion, Git, Bazaar, Courier IMAP, Postfix, Exim MTA, BIND, ProFTPD server, Open SSH , MySQL, Postgresql, Nagios shell scripting skills Bash, Ruby.

I am an enthusiastic individual who is looking for an opportunity to develop my skills in Networks, Linux, Nginx, Email, Apache, Web Applications and related fields. I am willing to undertake any training that would be beneficial to the organisation. I consider myself a person who is able to adapt well to new environments and respond well to directions. With my excellent communication skills, I have proven ability in dealing with colleagues as part of a team.

Working as a system administrator took part in building company infrastructure from the ground up. My duties in this role:

  • Configuration and installation of new RedHat/CentOS Linux, servers and upgrades to existing ones.
  • Configuration, installation and maintenance of the RedHat Linux Servers with Apache, Jboss/Tomcat (mod_jk) combination in cluster set up in development and production environment.
  • Configuration, installation and administration of version control system CVS.
  • Configuration and installation of MySQL servers.
  • Maintenance and administration of the IT infrastructure, network/switches/firewalls.
  • Configuration, administration and maintenance of Linux and OpenBSD based firewalls (iptables and pf on BSD).
  • nstallation, configuration, administration of the Samba on FreeBSD server.
  • Installation, maintenance and support of e-mail system Exim/Courier IMAP.

It was a great fun working in IT department of Centerpoint. Thanks Harry, Craig, Pavel and all the people working at the time with me. I still have fond memories of the time I spent working there.
